Participation Intent

The First step to begin the placement process is to fill in a form provided as an insert to the corporate resource center and confirm their participation. Every year, the requests are processed and the process is streamlined as per the convenience of recruiters keeping in mind the student engagement. The placement process starts with Pre- Placement talks by companies.

Detailed Job Descriptions

All companies are requested to share detailed job description for the positions they wish to recruit for. Job Description, which should comprise position responsibilities and a recruiting contact, will be instrumental in captivating student interest, this helps in maintaining transparency between the Organization & Students.

Recruitment Process

Companies are allotted a slot in recruitment program scheduled for conducting their final recruitment process. These slots are decided purely by cumulative student preferences. Companies may conduct all pre-final assessments like group discussions, preliminary interviews and tests prior to the day on which they are slotted. In order to make appropriate arrangements, companies are requested to provide information on their recruitment procedure.

Offers & Acceptance

All job offers are channeled through corporate resource center. CC&P Department communicate the company at the earliest, information of candidates who have finally accepted offers. It is expected that once offers are made companies will make note of the specific terms and conditions as discussed and agreed upon during the interview and these will be undeniably stated in the offer form submitted by the company.

Internship Programme

Beginning of a new relationship with Vidya Knowledge Park is through the Summer Internship Programme. After first year of studies students are required to undergo 6-8 weeks of training in an organizational setting to gain industry exposure. Summer Internship not only helps in generating valuable word of mouth publicity  but also give companies an opportunity to evaluate candidates before committing to a permanent hire.

Pre-Placement Talks

Presentations and pre-placement talks given by company provide students with an opportunity to learn more about Organization and meet some of the key employees. Companies can make a powerful impression by exposing students to highly knowledgeable employees who can deliver their message and convey their commitment to recruiting at Vidya Knowledge Park. The schedule for pre-placement talks can be worked out in co-ordination with Corporate Connect & Placement Department.
